Dr-Catheryne-Cathy-ZavodnyCatheryne (Cathy) Zavodny is a 1998 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in her hometown, Memphis, Tennessee. Having completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from Baylor University, she relocated back to Texas for her Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center. She has been in private practice in Plano since 2001. Cathy is an active member of the medical staff at Medical Center of Plano. Having served as Chief of Medicine, she currently is a member of the credentials committee.

She and her husband, Doug, have 2 sons, Jim and Mark. Outside of her practice of medicine, she enjoys hiking and going to 6 Flags with her family, reading, and attending country music concerts.
